Central Alberta nurse practitioner arrested for alleged sexual assault

The Red Deer resident worked in Three Hills

Three Hills RCMP has arrested and charged a nurse practitioner for alleged sexual assault.

On July 27, police received a complaint from an individual who reported a Three Hills nurse practitioner had sexually assaulted them in exchange for prescription medication and money.

This past Saturday, 42-year-old Christopher Mah, a Red Deer resident, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, extortion and breach of trust.

He has since been released from custody and will appear in Drumheller Provincial court on Dec. 9.

Three Hills RCMP is continuing its investigation and is asking the public to come forward with any similar type incidents. Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact Three Hills RCMP at 403-443-5539 or their local police.
