Central Alberta police drug operation leads to charges

A 42-year-old central Alberta man is facing drug charges after a joint police operation.

Lacombe Police Service and Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams co-operated on the operation targeting drug trafficking.

Dwayne Nelson Hekob was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

He is due in Red Deer provincial court on Jan. 13.
