Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre is presenting its annual Easter musical production Walk with Me.
Shows will run on March 21, 22 and 23 at 7 p.m., and March 23 at 2:30 p.m., at the Red Deer Memorial Centre.
Walk With Me is an original production that follows two men walking home to Emmaus on the first Easter morning. A ‘stranger’ joins them, and the men unknowingly meet the risen Christ.
Tickets to the family-friendly event are free, thanks to the generosity of event sponsors. Rush seating only.
All proceeds from the production will go towards The Aerie Maternity Home, a two-phase maternity home program in Red Deer for pregnant teens and young women. The facility, which is staffed 24/7, can accommodate up to 11 women and their infants, where they receive support for a healthy pregnancy and positive parenting.
Funding will help the facility to provide education and ongoing support before, during, and after pregnancy in the community.
