Central Alberta school raising awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls

Gus Wetter School in Castor has started a project to raise awareness in support of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The project is encouraging people to wear red in honour of the International day of Awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls on May 5.

The students and teachers created a Red Dress display at the school, which is accompanied by video lessons and poetry to share with Grades 10-12.
