The Alberta government’s “too little too late” response to the pandemic is prompting Friends of Medicare to appeal to Albertans to help protect public health care.

The group is urging people “to hold the government to account” and shore up “our vital public health care system.”

Albertans are being encouraged to contact their MLAs about the importance of protecting and strengthening public health care: “This upcoming legislative sitting will no doubt be critical for policies that impact each and every one of us, especially as it pertains to the public health care system on which we all rely.”

An email tool is available to send a message to Premier Jason Kenney, Health Minister Jason Copping and Opposition Rachel Notley on the website friends of medicare.org/stand4medicare.
