Red Deer’s Chamber Chase is back.
The Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce Amazing Race-style event will be hosted this year by Pidherney Curling Centre and takes place on Sept. 8.
This year, there will be new pit stops and new tasks to test the skills of racers.
The race begins at 5:30 p.m. at the curling centre when racers will be given their clues and racers must be back by 8 p.m. Shortly after, winners will be announced and trophies handed out and food, beverages and music will cap off the evening.
Each team requires two to four people with a smartphone and a vehicle. It costs $30 and participants must register in advance because space is limited.
