Three Central Albertans have been charged in an unusual suspected break and enter case.

In November, police were called to a break and enter at an Innisfail Antique store. A collection of antique coins and paper currency was stolen that was on cosignment. Later in the month, RCMP recovered a quantity of the stolen currency in an unrelated case.

Three individuals, a male from Penhold, a woman from Innisfail and a woman from Olds were all remanded into custody on other matters and were charged with one county of possession of a stolen property for the purpose of trafficking.

First appearance on these charges is set for January 28 in Red Deer provincial court.
