Central Alberta man charged in connection to alleged 2009 Springbrook incident

A Central Alberta man charged with sexually assaulting a minor will go on trial next spring.

Andrew Paul Dynaes, 47, who was to have appeared before a judge this fall, instead had his court date moved to April 20, 2017.

Dynaes was charged by police with sexual assault, sexual contact with a child under age 16, and assault with a weapon. The type of weapon was not disclosed by RCMP.

The charges stem from an alleged incident in Springbrook on Jan. 1, 2009.
