Why not celebrate Christmas with the gift of art?
The Red Deer Pottery Club and Red Deer Art Club are having their Christmas show and sale on Saturday. It runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Recreation Centre, 4501 47A Ave.
Pottery club members will have a wide range of items available, including mugs, bowls and Christmas ornaments. Art club members will have paintings, drawings and other works, as well as bookmarks.
This weekend, Norwegian Laft Hus Society is also holding its own annual craft and bake sale, which runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Nearby, Pioneer Lodge at 4324 46A Ave. is also holding an art sale on Saturday that runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
