Red Deerians are invited to chat with City of Red Deer staff and elected leaders during a trip to the mall on Saturday.

Let’s Talk will run from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Parkland Mall.

Mayor Morris Flewwelling and the rest of council, plus staff from over 30 city departments, agencies and committees will be on hand.

People will have the chance to learn about city projects, programs and services.

Residents can talk to staff about the recreational programs, comment on snow removal, and learn about how to prepare families for an emergency.

Depending on the weather, the RCMP and Emergency Services will be outside with the RCMP helicopter, command units, pumper truck and ambulance. Let’s Talk is an annual event hosted by the city.

People can also receive backstage access through the city’s Let’s Talk Red Deer blog, which runs until Saturday. For more information, go online at www.reddeer.ca.
