City of Red Deer announces closures to parts of Collicutt Centre

Annual maintenance will cause closures to parts of the Collicutt Centre next week.

The Red Deer recreation facility’s fitness area will close Monday through Friday for annual maintenance, the city has announced.

The upper and lower fitness areas, as well as the walking track, will be closed. All drop-in and registered classes will continue and are not affected by these closures.

The fitness areas and walking track will re-open on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 6:30 a.m.

The Water Park at Collicutt Centre will close on Sept. 5 through Sept. 22 for annual maintenance. The amenity will re-open for public swimming on Sept. 23 at noon.

Throughout the closures, all other City of Red Deer facilities will be open regular business hours including the G.H. Dawe Community Centre, the Michener Aquatic Centre and the Recreation Centre.
