The City of Red Deer is recruiting enumerators to carry out the 2020 municipal census.
Opportunities are available to go door to door to count and collect basic information from people living in each household.
Those who apply should be at least 18 years of age, comfortable talking with people, have basic map reading skills, the ability to use a tablet, be willing to work outdoors and be available to work flexible hours from April 14 to May 4.
Applications will only be accepted in person on the second floor of City Hall, 4914 48th Ave., between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from March 18 to 20.
Those looking for more information can attend one of three one-hour sessions being held March 11 at City Hall at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The municipal census is an official count of the number of people living in the city of Red Deer. The information is used for city planning, and to ensure infrastructure projects, and city programs and services, meet the needs of Red Deerians.
