Look ‘n book, the city’s online registration software will be unavailable for a few days this week while it undergoes upgrades.
In a release Monday, the city said the outage will begin on Monday at 4 p.m., with it expected to last until Oct. 26 at noon.
The City will conduct an update to new services provided by Moneris, our online payment processing provider, that affects the appearance of its online payment pages through Look ‘n Book.
Residents who use the online payments page to register for Recreation and Culture programs and Parks amenities will notice a slight change beginning Wednesday morning. Not only will the page look different, it will no longer redirect users to an outside site to enter their payment details.
While the system is temporarily unavailable, Recreation facilities will be accepting cash payments only. Customers looking to book courses are asked to delay registration until the update has been completed.
When the update is complete, accepted forms of online payment will include Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and MasterCard Debit.
