The City of Red Deer will begin traction control and plowing on grey routes Friday.

City crews finished all the green routes this week and will work on clearing the next section over the coming days.

With many citizens working from home, crews will skim the snowpack slightly to allow for additional traction control, without leaving windrows or affecting on-street parking.

Because this is not a full-plowing program, residents do not need to move their vehicles and parking tickets will not be issued.
