The City of Red Deer will start snow plowing on Green Routes on Thursday.
Green Routes are collector/ bus routes that have higher traffic and provide access from residential streets to arterial routes, transit routes and schools. Removing snow from these routes helps keep traffic moving efficiently.
Green Route Plowing will begin in Snow Zone I and continue alphabetically until complete. Grey Routes (less busy residential streets) are not scheduled at this time in order to maintain on-street parking for residents. They will be plowed when snowpack reaches 5-10 cm.
Parking restrictions will be in place on Green Routes. Check reddeer.ca/snow for snow zones details.
