Telus has confirmed that 9-1-1 service has been fully restored throughout the province.
The City of Red Deer has cancelled the Alberta Emergency Alert issued within the City of Red Deer and has resumed normal operations.
Telus mobile phone users are unable to call 9-1-1.
The city had earlier asked residents to call emergency services using a landline, or head to the nearest fire or RCMP station.
