For two days next week, Red Deer residents won’t be able to relax at Kiwanis Picnic Park.
The city announced Friday that on May 25 and 26, the public won’t be able to use The Kiwanis Picnic Park gazebo, adjacent parking lot and some of the surrounding area near Great Chief Park as crews will have large equipment working in the area.
Barriers will be in place during the closure.
Any residents with bookings for the site have been contacted by staff to notify them of the closure. Barriers will be in place during the closure.
The city noted in its news release that construction is weather-dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
