Construction of Red Deer’s 19th Street to continue into evenings

Night construction will be happening next week on 19 Street at 49 and 46 Avenue intersections.

Motorists are advised of an upcoming traffic disruption during evening hours.Between Sunday, June 11 and Saturday June 17, the intersections of 19 Street and 49 Avenue and 19 Street and 46 Avenue will be reduced to one lane.

Flags persons will be on site directing all traffic and the right-turn only traffic pattern will still be in place. Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks.

This work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change. For more information on the 19 Street Improvement Project, visit www.reddeer.ca/19Street. Residents can also sign up for regular construction updates with the 19 Street Improvements Project newsletter on the same site.
