City of Red Deer crews are repairing a pipe at the sewage pumping station on the northeast corner of 22nd Street and 40th Avenue after a leak was detected earlier this week.
Additional fencing has been installed around the station.
The area will be excavated today and the work is expected to be completed on Friday.
There is no risk to the public but residents and their pets are asked to stay away from the area.
