Canadian Cancer Society volunteer Madeleine Hodgen gathers bunches of daffodils from the pyramid display in the Bower Place Shopping Centre on Thursday. The Canadian Cancer Society has several locations through the city where they are selling the bright yellow flowers through the weekend. Money raised in the annual Daffodil Days event will help the Society to provide the public with important information about cancer and risk reduction, as well as offer supportive care services and fund research on all types of cancer.
