Paige Chalack of Innisfail gets up close with her calf at the Westerner Championship Dairy Showcase in Red Deer on Friday afternoon. Her grandparents farm Wendon Holsteins is represented at the competition as are dairy operations from all the Western provinces. The show continues today with competitions in various categories happening through the day in the Agri-Centre building.
