The water park at the G.H. Dawe Community Centre is closed until further notice.

The City of Red Deer did not release the reason for the closure on Monday, except to say it was because of the need for “unscheduled maintenance.”

G.H. Dawe Community Centre card holders are reminded that their cards allow them access to the Red Deer Recreation Centre, as well as the Michener Aquatic Centre.

The rest of the amenities at the G.H. Dawe Community Centre, including the gymnasium, fitness/cardio area, meeting rooms, Kidz Place child minding, and the arena are open regular hours while water park maintenance is done.
