Update: Man found dead by bridge in Red Deer was 40

RCMP say the man whose body was found by a bridge in Red Deer Saturday was 40.

Over the weekend, the police had said the body found by the CPR bridge on the north side of the Red Deer River, around 1:20 p.m. was not considered suspicious.

The man was found dead at the scene, the RCMP added.

The RCMP are seeking any suspects in relation to the investigation, police said Monday.

Names will not be released.

No further updates are anticipated at this time.
