People worried about Nova Chemicals’ Joffre plant expansion have until Nov. 25 to express their concerns.
The company plans to boost polyethylene production by adding a new reactor, pelletizer, flare stack and cooling tower. Those directly affected can submit a written statement of concern as per the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Failure to do so may affect the right to file a notice of appeal with the Environmental Appeals Board.
