A male osprey scans a cow pasture off Secondary Hwy 595, about 30 km east of the city, looking for prey Saturday. The bird and its mate now enjoy a nesting platform erected by Atco at the urging of Delburne-area resident Deborah Ellis, after the power pole the pair used in previous years was moved due to work on the highway last year.
