A train has derailed near Lethbridge at Highway 23 and Township Road 12-0 south of the Village of Barons.
Lethbridge County said the rail cars are leaking octane Monday morning.
Fire crews are on the scene working to contain the leak.
Highway 23 is closed from Township Road 11-4 to Township Road 12-2 and traffic is being rerouted westbound.
