Developers have until late April to leave their mark on the Red Deer’s downtown-adjacent revitalization project.

A press release from Capstone at Riverlands, says developers have until April 26 to submit a proposal for the mixed use residential development project.

The project will feature higher-density housing, complimentary commercial opportunities, riverfront gathering areas, pedestrian-friendly trail connections, public art and green spaces.

There is a lot scheduled for the construction of the redeveloped neighbourhood. This year, after the land sales request for proposal, work will begin on the Alexander Way utility connection and surface works, the first phase of the river walk, teh preliminary construction of the Canada 150 square and 45th Street surface works.
