Catch basin repairs will require the closure of the intersection of 49 Avenue and 48 Street between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The City of Red Deer said the two right lanes on 49 Avenue will also be closed on Sept. 7 while crews are working on the repairs.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks.
