The ATB Financial Downtown Market in Red Deer will open for the season on Wednesday.
The outdoor market, which runs weekly, is in its ninth season and provides an opportunity for market enthusiasts, families and foodies to shop local.
The market runs every Wednesday until Oct. 4 from 3:30 yo 6:30 p.m. It is located on Little Gaetz (50th) Avenue from Alexander Way (48th Street) to Ross (50th) Street.
New and returning vendors from Central Alberta will be selling products including fresh veggies and meat, baked goods, jams, jellies, and more.
The market draws an average of 350 visitors per week. It also features a Community Corner that offers space to up to two not-for-profit organizations per week, free of charge.
