A dragon from CBC’s Dragons’ Den is coming to Red Deer on June 6.
Michele Romanow is an engineer and serial entrepreneur who started five companies before her 33rd birthday.
She is co-founder of Clearbanc, which in 2018 gave entrepreneurs more than $100 million in funding; SnapSave, which was acquired by Groupon; and Buytopia.ca, which ranked No. 3 on the Profit Hot 50 list of fastest growing companies.
Romanow was named in WXN’s “100 most powerful in Canada” and listed as the only Canadian on Forbes’ “Millennial on a Mission” list.
Romanow will bring her entrepreneurial savvy to the WOW! Awards showcasing excellence in a variety of business and leadership categories.
Doors to the Festival Hall event open at 4:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Keynote presentation is at 7:15 and awards at 8:30 p.m.
