Red Deer RCMP have released a composite drawing of a man who is suspected of trying to photograph a woman in a washroom stall on Jan. 14.

A woman confronted a man after he stuck a cellphone under the door of a public washroom stall at the Collicutt Centre.

The man said he was mistakenly in the wrong washroom.

He is described as Caucasian, with a short groomed beard. He was wearing a light coloured tuque, blue jeans and white shoes.

Police say the incident occurred between 7:30 and 8 p.m. when a woman in a washroom stall noticed a man’s hand holding a cellphone under the stall door. When the woman confronted the man, he claimed he was mistakenly in the wrong washroom.

He gave his name and phone number to allay her suspicions, but both turned out to be false.

The victim called security and the RCMP immediately, but the suspect left the building before he could be apprehended.
