Devin Dreeshen has been nominated as the United Conservative Party’s candidate for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake for the 2019 provincial election.
Dreeshen won a byelection in July to represent the constituency.
“Devin’s deep understanding of the importance of healthy relationships with Alberta’s trading partners is why I asked him to serve as the official Opposition trade critic when he was first elected,” said UCP Leader Jason Kenney in a statement.
“As a fifth-generation farmer, Devin knows how vital the agriculture sector is to the people of Innisfail-Sylvan Lake and the economic fortunes of the province as a whole.”
Devin is the son of Earl Dreeshen, the Conservative MP for Red Deer-Mountain View.
