Dress for Success Central Alberta now has an executive director
Kristine Bugayong was appointed to this position by the board of directors for the non-profit.
With over 15 years of community development experience, Bugayong has worked in various capacities within the non-profit sector. Her knowledge base is augmented by her “deep passion” for community building, engagement and advancing women’s causes to create an equitable society.
“We are very pleased to welcome Kristine as the first executive director of Dress for Success Central Alberta. We are confident that her… know-how, enthusiasm, and leadership will be integral to elevating and growing our organization so we can serve more women in our community,” said Crystal Cawsey, chair of the board.
Bugayong said she’s very excited to be part of an “extraordinary” organization that has touched so many lives. “I look forward to working with our passionate volunteers to offer so much more to the community.”
Dress for Success Central Alberta’s mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
