One man was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Sylvan Lake, after one driver blew a yield sign.
Sylvan Lake RCMP were called to the intersection of Range Road 10 and Township Road 380 after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning to a report of a collision.
Police said a truck driving south on Range Road 10 was struck on its side by a truck driving westbound on Township Road 380, failing to stop for the yield sign there. The southbound driver crawled out of his vehicle and flagged down traffic. The other man, a 54-year-old, was found dead on scene.
No charges will be laid.
According to police collision analysis, both vehicles were travelling at the proper speeds.
