Peter Ker Ruach, 36, was among a group of people busted in November and December 2010 after an investigation by Red Deer City RCMP.

Ruach was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine.

Originally scheduled for trial in January of this year, court proceedings were delayed when he fired his first lawyer.

Ruach was sentenced before Justice Kirk Sisson in Red Deer Court of Queen’s Bench.
