Drug-related armed robbery case going go trial

Chance Shane Mitchell, 24, was charged with robbery after police were called to a downtown apartment building at about 10 p.m. on April 2 to break up a fight. No one was injured.

On June 18, Steven Gordon Hubley, 29, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 days in jail in connection with the incident.

Hubley was charged with double doctoring and possession of a knife for a dangerous purpose. Double doctoring is an offence in which a person gets prescriptions from multiple sources, often to sell on the street.
