A Red Deer man goes to trial in Red Deer provincial court on Aug. 8 for a drug-related attempted robbery.
Chance Shane Mitchell, 24, was charged with robbery after police were called to a downtown apartment building at about 10 p.m. on April 2 to break up a fight. No one was injured.
On June 18, Steven Gordon Hubley, 29, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 days in jail in connection with the incident.
