Drugs and guns seized in Blackfalds

Two people charged with offences

RCMP seized drugs, firearms and money at a house in Blackfalds on Friday.

Blackfalds RCMP said methamphetamine and cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia, were found when the search warrant was executed.

Christina Maria Stark was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, and possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine.

Joseph Andrew MacInnis was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, and possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine.

Both Stark and MacInnis were released from custody to attend Red Deer provincial court.

Police said the investigation was ongoing and further charges may be laid.
