Two individuals are facing a collection of charges after they were found in possession of drugs and weapons in Wetaskiwin.
At around 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 26, in an industrial area of town, an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle where the license plate did not match.
During a search of the vehicle, the officer located several weapons, drugs and break-in tools and the two individuals were arrested.
The individuals are set to appear in court later this month.
The two suspects, of Wetaskiwin and Breton, Alta., are charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of break-in instruments and possession of prohibited weapon while unauthorized.
