Drugstore robbed early Wednesday morning

At 2:18 a.m., RCMP responded to the North Hill business. A lone unknown male had entered and demanded money from the clerk, according to an RCMP news release. The clerk complied and the suspect fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk wasn’t injured in the incident.

The RCMP canine unit assisted in the search for the suspect, but he wasn’t found. He is described as Caucasian, 178-183 centimetres tall, weighing between 73 and 82 kilograms, and having a slim build, short, brown hair and a clean shave. He was reportedly wearing a red Ecko-brand hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans.
