The Edmonton Oilers and the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre have teamed up for some off-ice excitement.

The Edmonton Oilers Foundation and the centre are co-hosting a luncheon and question-and-answer session in support of both organizations.

Oilers general manager Ken Holland and head coach Dave Tippett will be there, and the question-and-answer session will be hosted by Oiler Radio personalities Jack Michaels and Bob Stauffer.

Other special guests are to be announced.

The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at Red Deer’s Cambridge Hotel.

Guests will have a chance to win exclusive Oilers door prizes, including a suite, loge or Sky Lounge tickets for an Oilers pre-season game.

Tickets for the luncheon cost $20 for children 12 and under and $50 for adults. They are available through EventBrite, or call 587-272-2233, or email info@centralalbertacac.ca.

The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre is a not-for-profit organization rooted in the protection and recovery of children.
