Rocky Mountain House RCMP are looking for three men who allegedly assaulted an elderly man and stole his ATV in Clearwater County.
Police say the elderly rural property owner went outside to check on his truck around 2:30 a.m. on March 14 and came across three men. The property owner was assaulted after a confrontation.
Police say one suspect fled on the property owner’s ATV and the other two left in the small four-door sedan the arrived in.
The ATV was recovered and returned to the owner, who was transported to hospital to recover from non-life-threatening injuries after the incident – he is still in hospital recovering.
The investigation is ongoing.
