Voting stations are now closed in Red Deer.

Monday was the final day to cast a ballot in the 2021 municipal election.

Voters also had the chance to cast a ballot on two referendum topics including, should the section of the Constitution enshrining the principle of equalization payments be removed and do you want Alberta to adopt year-round Daylight Saving Time?

Red Deer did not have dedicated neighbourhood voting stations on election day, but eight voting stations were available.

Winners will be posted on www.reddeeradvocate.com as soon as results are available.
