Red Deer RCMP and EMS responded to a collision Monday evening.
A white pickup truck was upside-down and a car had heavy fire damage at the scene of the collision, next to Sorensen Station in downtown Red Deer.
RDES are on scene at an MVC at 49 Avenue (Gaetz North) and 48 Street. The intersection will be closed to traffic for the next hour while crews attend the scene. Please use another route. #RedDeer

As of 6 p.m., 48 Street south of the station and 49 Avenue to the west had been completely blocked off. Just before 6 p.m., the City of Red Deer said the roads were expected to be blocked off for an hour.
