Enrolment up at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools’ official enrolment for the 2019-2020 school year is at 10,455 students – that’s a 1.4 per cent growth.

That is an increase of 144 students.

“We continue to see an enrolment increase each year and we are happy to see families choosing Catholic education,” said Superintendent Paul Mason, at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.

The division employs 641 teachers and 627 support staff with 160 substitute teachers.

This school year, St. Patrick’s Community School, which offers a year-round program, modernization is expected to be complete by the end of November.
