An inmate who walked away from a minimum-security institution in Maskwacis on Sunday is back in custody.
Tyrone Michael Emblau, 36, was arrested at a Calgary residence without incident by Maskwacis RCMP on Tuesday night.
The Calgary Police Service and Calgary sheriffs helped with the arrest.
Emblau remains in custody and is scheduled for court in Wetaskiwin on May 14 on charges related to his escape.
He was discovered missing during a 4:30 a.m. bed check at Pê Sâkâstêw Centre.
Emblau is serving a sentence of two years, two months, 11 days for assault with intent to resist arrest.
