The wildfire danger in Rocky Mountain House Forest Area remains high as efforts to put out the wildfire west of Nordegg continues.

The evacuation alerts have been lifted for Centre for Outdoor Education, Frontier Lodge, Goldeye Centre, Fish Lake and Goldeye Lake provincial recreation areas and surrounding areas.

The evacuation alert for Nordegg was previously lifted.

Haven Road remains closed to public access to allow for safe firefighting operations.

Helicopters may be scooping water from Goldeye Lake so visitors should be aware and give them space to work.
