Not ready to let the 2019 Canada Winter Games go yet?

There is another chance to scoop up one of the ubiquitous “Winnie the Pooh” volunteer jackets — for the low, low price of $50 — along with plenty of other swag.

But that’s not all, as the late-night TV pitchmen say.

Looking for a new laptop? There’s a handful of Dell laptops with related accessories available for $300 a pop.

The Canada Winter Games Asset Sale runs 1 to 7 p.m. at the Games offices in the former Sears location at Bower Place mall.

On a less exciting level, there are plenty of office supplies available, heat lamps, cleaning supplies, spools of string, coffee makers, hangars, serving trays, rubber boots and other mundane but useful items.

“It’s a lot of little stuff. We have outdoor stuff like buckets and things for cars like windshield washer fluid,” said Scott Robinson, Games chief executive officer.

“Then of course we still have some merchandise to sell of, our Games gear stuff.”

Bargain hunters can expect to see gear selling for at least 50 per cent off.

“We did get rid of a lot stuff,” said Robinson. “There is a little bit of stuff left for sure, but of course sizes are limited and things like that.

“Our clothing program as a whole did really good.”

Haven’t got your Waskasoo stuffie yet? Here’s your chance.

“In the case of all the other stuff, it’s garage sale prices basically.”

Items that would be useful for the organizers of the 2021 Canada Summer Games in Niagara Region are on their way to them.

“We’re obligated to send a lot of the stuff that a Games would use to the next Games. There’s a couple of truckloads of stuff going to that.”
