Telus workers Scott Walter, left, and Brad Blackman lower the peregrine falcon box over the side of the north hill Telus microwave tower Thursday. After a summer of watching peregrine chicks hatch and grow online thanks to a Red Deer River Naturalists camera mounted inside the nesting box, it was time to remove the box for the coming winter. The local conservation group hopes to add additional cameras when the box is remounted on the 100-metre-tall platform next spring.
