Some City of Red Deer aquatic centres have returned to fall hours.
After an active summer season, the Recreation Centre outdoor pool will close for the season at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5.
The Red Deer Recreation Centre’s hours of operation, as of Tuesday, Sept. 6, are Monday to Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m, Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Michener Aquatic Centre will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 6 after annual maintenance is complete.
Although the Blue Grass Sod Farm Central Spray and Play features typically closes along with the outdoor pool, the operating season has been extended due to warm weather. The final day of operation for the Spray and Play is Friday, Sept. 9.
After this time, crews will begin winterizing and completing end-of-season repairs.
