Live music, food trucks and prize giveaways are planned for a family friendly event on the north side of Sylvan Lake on Saturday, Aug. 28.
Musical acts include Jamie Woodfin, Steve Arsenault and Dylan Gillett. They will perform from noon to 5 pm. at the Summer Shindig at The Slopes, a housing development at the corner of Range Rd 14 and Birchcliff Road.
Besides live music and food trucks, there will be balloon animals, bouncy castles, prize giveaways from local vendors, and tours of the housing development.
The Slopes of Sylvan Lake is a 49-acre planned community, adjacent to the Summer Village of Birchcliff on Sylvan’s northeastern shores.
“It should be a great way to spend one of the last Saturday afternoons of the summer,” say organizers.
